Company Introduction

Sol-Max Inc. is a U.S. residential energy storage and power electronics company formerly known as MidNite Power Inc. We design hybrid solar inverters, lithium iron phosphate battery systems, monitoring tools, and backup power solutions for installers and homeowners. Sol-Max Inc. was established in August 2023 with a clear purpose: to develop reliable, practical, installer-focused energy storage systems for the North American market. In July 2024, the company introduced its first ESS platform, featuring the hybrid AIO inverter and the Powerflo series LFP batteries. Following a public rebranding campaign in June 2026, the company officially changed its legal name to Sol-Max Inc. in July 2026.

Although our company name has changed, our mission remains the same: built with installers, for installers. Sol-Max is committed to creating a dependable, flexible, and practical ESS platform that meets the real-world needs of solar professionals, electricians, and customers across North America.

Our product philosophy is simple: an ESS should be powerful, easy to install, easy to support, and ready for real-world applications. The Sol-Max AIO platform is designed for off-grid power, grid-tied self-consumption, backup power, and home UPS-style protection. One flexible and reliable platform helps installers meet a wide range of customer needs.

Sol-Max also places a strong emphasis on training, monitoring, and long-term technical support. Our technical support team is led by respected solar industry veterans with more than 25 years of system design and installation experience in the United States. Every team member brings hands-on field experience, allowing us to provide practical guidance, effective troubleshooting, and a strong understanding of jobsite challenges.

From the beginning, Sol-Max has listened closely to installers and customers. We have already integrated many installer-suggested features into our products, reflecting our deep commitment to field-driven innovation. This feedback has directly influenced our firmware, wiring design, generator functions, AC-coupling performance, smart-load control, monitoring tools, and installation guidance.
